When Gordon Gehrlein started AAA Vending Services in a two-car garage in 1985, he had no idea his small business would have such an impact on both his family and local vending.

The company, which provides name-brand snack and drink vending services to local businesses, is not only the largest locally-owned vendor in the Greater Erie Area, but is now a family business that provides jobs for local residents and technical support to other vendors. Gordon's son Gary, who works as general manager alongside siblings Ken and Kathy, attributes the company's strength to maintaining good relations with a solid customer base. "Our loyal customers keep us coming to work everyday," he says.

And what's it like to have your father as your boss?
